Dr. Aubrey Tuders

Pre-licensed Psychologist.

Dr. Aubrey Tuders is a pre-licensed psychologist with more than 10 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults, adolescents and children. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Gerontology, a Master of Science of Education in Community Counseling, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Tuders has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating grief and bereavement, trauma, depression (including late-life depression and depression without sadness), chronic illness and cancer, particularly breast cancer; perimenopause and menopause-related concerns; autism spectrum disorder; serious and persistent mental illness; and dementia.Her clinical interests are particularly relevant to law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS professionals, emergency dispatchers, corrections personnel, and their families, who may experience cumulative stress, trauma exposure, grief, depression, health-related challenges, and significant occupational or life transitions.

Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual's unique needs and draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) preparation. Dr. Tuders believes that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on empathy, respect, and authenticity.
